Description

This creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken Pasta is the ultimate comfort food that’s both indulgent and easy to make. Tender seared chicken is combined with al dente pasta and tossed in a rich, garlicky parmesan cream sauce that clings to every bite. Inspired by a TikTok viral favorite, this recipe brings together classic flavor with viral-level satisfaction — perfect for busy weeknights, cozy date nights, or feeding a hungry family.


Ingredients

2–3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)

8 oz pasta (penne, rotini, or your choice)

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

½ block (4 oz) cream cheese (optional for extra creaminess)

1 tbsp olive oil or avocado oil

1 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and black pepper, to taste

½ cup pasta water (reserved)

 

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)


Instructions

  1. Cook the Chicken: Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and sear chicken until golden and cooked through (165°F). Remove and slice or cube.
  2. Cook the Pasta:  Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of the pasta water before draining.
  3. Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, sauté garlic for 1 minute. Add heavy cream, cream cheese, and Parmesan. Stir continuously until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
  4. Combine Everything : Return pasta and sliced chicken to the skillet. Mix until well coated. Add pasta water as needed to thin the sauce to your liking.
  5. Serve:  Plate the pasta and top with fresh parsley and more Parmesan. Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

Swap chicken for shrimp or sausage for a twist

Add veggies like spinach, peas, or sun-dried tomatoes

For a spicier version, sprinkle in red pepper flakes
