Ingredients
  

  • 1 teaspoon butterfly pea flower powder
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup water hot
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup optional
  • 2 tablespoons dried lavender for syrup
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 3 tablespoons cream for matcha sweet cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla syrup or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract optional, for taste
  • Ice cubes as needed

Instructions
 

  • Place 1 tsp butterfly pea powder in a cup, add 1 cup hot water and whisk until smooth.
  • Add 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar and 1 tbsp lemon juice. Stir well.
  • Optional: Add 1 tsp honey or maple syrup and almond extract for more flavor.
  • Boil 1/2 cup water with 2 tbsp lavender and 1/2 cup sugar. Simmer 5 min, steep 30 min, strain.
  • Combine 1/2 cup lemon juice, lavender syrup, cold water and butterfly tea. Add ice.
  • Whisk 1 tsp butterfly pea powder with 1 tbsp hot water. Add milk and optional sweetener.
  • Mix powder with water, pour cold milk and top with whipped cream of cream + matcha + syrup.

Notes

Color changes with lemon due to pH reaction. Matcha pairs well with the tea. Enjoy fresh!
